Art, by the way, is not communication.

It’s placing on the table

something that others may enjoy,

or not like,

or ignore.

And by them doing the first,

or the second,

or the third,

is the measurement of their capacity for that kind of experience.

But since the artist is a human being like the others,

his personal stature is an aspect of human life

and will therefore be understandable

at least

to some of his supporters.
